THE STORIES WE TELL: AMERICA’S GREAT LEGACY OF WOMEN IN LONGFORM JOURNALISM, VOLUME 1, is the first of a two-book text/anthology that honors women who have distinguished themselves in the field of literary journalism.
The first volume is being edited by Patsy Sims, a long-time journalist, award-winning author, and National Endowment for the Arts Fellow. As past director of Goucher College’s MFA in Creative Nonfiction Program, Ms. Sims brings experience both on the ground and in the classroom. For ease of organization, Volume 1 includes writers born roughly before 1960. Volume 2 includes writers born thereafter.
Published by The Sager Group, The Stories We Tell is part of our four-book Women in Journalism series, which honors the contributions women have made (and continue to make) to the evolution of graceful literary reportage in America and around the world.
